Imagine this past summer is the movie of your life. Now stop, separate the images from the dialogue and the music from the film. Write down the songs that remain. Think about the songs that will remind you that there was once a time when you kept your windows open all the time, wore threadbare t-shirts all day long, saw the sun set past 10pm, went to the lake after the bar closed, rode your bike over burning hot tar. What song will warm your face when the snow (or fog) descends? Send them to me. You will be rewarded, with CDs and a sense of accomplishment.
